Hello! I’m Virginia Marshall, a writer and audio producer living in Brooklyn, New York. I was a 2023-2024 Emerging Writer Fellow at the Center for Fiction and a graduate of Brooklyn College’s MFA program.

My work has been published in Portland Review, Breakwater Review, Catapult, Harvard Review, Essay Daily, The Normal School and NPR, among others. My podcast for Brooklyn Public Library about America’s ideological war with its bookshelves won a Webby Award and was nominated for a Peabody Award.
